97 ~ YEARLING RAM ~ 3RD PLACE RAM, CLASS 1
~A BIG THANKS GOES TO WHITE RANCH, CORNING, CALIFORNIA FOR PURCHASING
THIS POWERFUL RAM~
"Locomotive", Prairie Rose 7511-2 QR/NN
Born: 1/29/07 Sire: "Great Divide", Luxford
03-1131A Dam: Prairie Rose 511
This is a big bodied, massive ram that is a powerful, naturally thick, long fellow
that is wide out over the hip. He is a paternal half brother to "Burlington Northern" the stud we sold at the Nugget in 2006
for $8,500. He is an impressive individual with a great temperment, much like his sire. If you liked "Big Burly" in 2006,
you'll love this ram. We line bred with this ram and he produced some outstanding lambs for us. Need mass, spring of
rib, depth of body, length, and natural thickness built into your flock, this is the stud! Range buyers take note: Ram sire
material here.

Prairie Rose 7614-1
Born: 3/07
Sire: "Saddle Tramp", Luxford 04-1256A Dam: Prairie Rose 614
Nicknamed
around the ranch, "Gorby", this young stud is a large framed, big buck with some powerful genetics behind him. He has mass,
length, height, correctness and has a great pattern. He is still on the grow and still has his lamb's teeth. He is sired
by "Saddle Tramp", Luxford 04-1256A, who stamps his offspring with extra length and style and he is dammed by a "Great Divide"
daughter which is where he gets his mass and substance from. He's really a solid ram with a great look to him.

~A HUGE THANKS GOES TO REPEAT BUYERS, JOHN AND ANITA PHILLIPS, J & A
PHILLIPS RANCH, FOR PURCHASING THIS BIG COMPLETE STUD~
"Tomcat", Prairie Rose 7606-1 QR/NN
Born: 2/1/07
Sire:
"Saddle Tramp", Luxford 04-1256A Dam: "TomBoy", Prairie Rose 606
"Tomcat" is a big, bold, 3 dimensional type
of ram. He is a good headed, massive ram with a great top, clean front, natural thickness and a big hip. He has been a stand-out
since birth and his dam had another powerful pair of lambs this year. He is the first offering out of "TomBoy", one of our
best "Great Divide" daughters, going back to one of our most powerful ewe lines. His grandsire, "Great Divide", sired the
Reserve Senior Champion Ram at the Nugget for Ansel in 2005 and whose own grandsire was the Reserve Champion Ram and high
selling ram at the Nugget in 2002. "Tomcat" is a high quality stud ram, top to bottom. Great pedigree, great ram!

BIG THANKS TO REBECCA HEIN, ELK GROVE, CA, FOR PURCHASING THIS GOOD RAM!~
"Long Range", Prairie Rose 7615-1 RR/NN
Born:
2/15/07
Sire: "Saddle Tramp", Luxford 04-1256A Dam: Prairie Rose 615
Still on the grow, this ram is
extremely long with a very impressive loin. He is a good fleeced buck as well, good headed, and has a full thick top. He
still has his lamb's teeth as of this posting, so we suspect this guy will get big. His maternal grandmother, Prairie
Rose 507, dammed "Mule Train", the buck we sold at the National Sale in 2007 for $3,500. Don and Edie McCormick, Syringa
Suffolks, leased "Long Range" as a lamb & he sired a great set of lambs for them! Great potential here. Excellent pedigree
to boot.
