~ Lamb Photos ~ Under 30 days of Age A Sampling
|
Pictured above is a triplet son of "Great
Divide" and a top "LAWMAN" daughter. This baby lamb is super correct, straight down his top and
has that nice level wide hip that his sire is known for. He is just a dandy lamb that is being raised as a triplet on
his dam. He is pictured here at 1 week old. Stay tuned for more pictures of the lambs as they get a snitch older.

A bold, baby son of "Shanghai Noon" and one
of our 7 year old brood ewes, "Sage". This is a super cool young ram lamb that puts together muscling,
length of body, big bone, correctness and overall size and scale. He is a tank! Dam was Supreme Champion
Ewe as a ewe lamb here in Montana. It will be fun to watch this lamb develop. Pictured here at 25 days of age.

This twin ewe lamb is sired by "Double Shot of
Jack" and dammed by a "Saddle Tramp" daughter that never fails to please with the type of lamb she produces. The
"Double Shot of Jack" lambs are beautiful lambs with pattern and great Suffolk character, not
to mention body, bone and substance. Pictured here at 22 days of age.

A group of baby Feb. born lambs soaking up the sun. They
are pictured here at 8-16 days of age with the younger lambs still in their 'lamb coats' because of cold and windy weather. They
are shown here with their guardian llama. She hates anything that comes near her 'charges', except the shepherds.

Caught in mid-play mode, this twin ram lamb is an awesome son
of "Yukon Jack" and a "Great Divide" daughter who produces stud quality rams. This baby ram will
be one for us to watch. Great headed with a gorgeous, clean front end, he is a handsome not so little ram with ample bone,
body and that certain something that grabs your attention quickly. We are excited about this youngster! Pictured
here at 16 days of age.

Twin (pictured right) ewe lamb sired by "Shanghai
Noon" and dammed by the twin sister to "Ticket to Ride", a huge son of Burlington Northern. Full genetic sister
but a year older was Champion Suffolk Ewe and Supreme Champion Ewe Overall in 2010 (as a lamb) for our niece, Amanda.
This twin ewe lamb has a dandy twin sister that was uncooperative for a picture but she is awesome. Strong female line
with consistency, great maternals and the ability to put top quality out each and every time. Pictured here at 20 days
of age.

Pictured above is a 10 day old twin ewe lamb that is
sired by "Yukon Jack" and dammed by a big "Barn BuRRner" daughter, "Muchacha" who's dam
was "Salsa", the Reserve Champion Ewe at the old Inland Northwest Show in 2001. A champion herself, "Muchacha"
never fails to put a great set of lambs on the ground and this year is no exception. This young lamb is super correct, solid
and profiles nicely. A nice combination of form meeting function. Again, pictured in a lamb coat due to the windy,
cold weather but we feel it's healthier for the lambs to acclimate to the outside world while they're young than to be
a barn baby for weeks on end.

These good looking set of triplet lambs are sired by our senior
stud, "Great Divide". Vigorous lambs, they are long, correct with great tops, heads, hips and tailsets.
Mom dammed the high selling ram at the Newell Ram Sale in 2010. They are being raised as triplets on
their dam. Pictured here at 9 days of age. A really nice set of lambs!
The ram lamb pictured to the left is quite a lamb.
He's a big lamb with loads of potential! Large framed with quick early gain. Exceptional length, top, hip. He
is sired by "Yukon Jack" and dammed by a daughter of "TomBoy", the stud ewe we lost last year to predators.
Keep your eye on this ram lamb...he's going to be something! Pictured here at 27 days of age.

Pictured above and to the right, a "Shanghai Noon"
twin ram lamb bred for the commercial producer/rangeman in mind. He's thick front to back, has excellent body depth,
spring of rib and is packed chock full of product. Given the genetics on his sire and dam's sides, I believe this young
fellow and his twin brother will be dimensionally massive. Great feet and legs and ample bone. If you fancy the
older style of Suffolk, then this ram lamb would certainly be one to watch. I admire this lamb and his twin brother
for their overall natural thickness and balance. Both lambs are real meat wagons yet maintain smoothness! Pictured
here at 20 days of age.
