2011 Sale Rams and Ewes Yearling Rams Available: We
are currently sold out of yearling rams ~ we sell these rams by mid-June of each year. If you are interested in one
of our yearling rams, please contact us early! Yearling Ewes Available: All yearling ewes that were
intended for sale have been sold. "Great
Divide", Luxford 03-1131 This stud is 8+ years old and still going. We bred Great Divide
to 13 ewes so look for that same quality and style in his 2011 lambs that he is known for! I love this ram as he is
as consistent in what he throws today as he did in his first lamb crop for us in 2005! Consistent quality, breed character,
power and beauty, longevity and outstanding females. We will use Great Divide again in 2011 for 2012 lambs...this will be
his 8th breeding season here.
"Yukon Jack", Luxford 07-1311
Jack's lambs are impressive and powerful. Jack's 3rd crop of lambs is looking great! Jack's lambs often
end up being the largest lambs at sale time and there is that certain something that continually draws buyers to his lambs!
They also grow into huge yearlings! He produces stud bucks and ewes. Yukon Jack will be on the breeding docket
again for 2011 for the 2012 lamb crop.
"Shanghai Noon", Pleasant
Valley 1213. One of the last Pleasant Valley rams to be had before Barb and Dave retired out of the sheep
business. Shanghai puts his own stamp on his lambs...they are thick, muscular, easy doin' type of lambs but don't
let all that product make you think they aren't eye appealing...Shanghai also stamps a very classic Suffolk head
on his lambs not to mention overall eye appeal, gorgeous front ends & great dispositions. I've got my eye on
several of his lambs this year...We sold Shanghai after last year's breeding season strictly on a business decision...we have
some excellent keeper ewe lambs out of him and have a very GOOD set of ram lambs for sale in 2011 that are sired by him.
"Double Shot of Jack", Prairie Rose 9606-4
This tremendous individual was originally slated to go the National Sale in Reno in 2010 but he was unable to go because of
an injured leg. Those who have seen this ram have suggested that he may be one of the best bodied, most correct rams
that they've seen that has bone, mass and eye appeal. He really puts it all together! Although we were disappointed
we couldn't show him at the national, we were fortunate enough to breed with Double Shot as owners of half interest.
He is a son of "Yukon Jack" and "TomBoy", a top stud ewe sired by 'Great Divide". We are very
excited about Double Shot's lambs....they are FLASHY, vigorous lambs with correctness and size. A full brother
is one of our top yearling rams this year!
